Acupuncture
Dr. Arik Naylous specializes in acupuncture as part of a broader, individualized approach to care. Treatments are tailored to each patient’s symptoms, health history, and overall clinical picture, with the goal of supporting the nervous system, improving circulation, reducing pain, and helping the body function more efficiently.
Acupuncture may be incorporated into care for concerns such as pain, headaches, digestive symptoms, stress, sleep disturbances, fatigue, and other chronic or complex conditions.
Dr. Naylous specializes in three distinct yet complementary areas of care: Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and Functional Medicine.
By bringing these approaches together, he is able to address symptoms from multiple perspectives and create care plans tailored to each patient’s unique health concerns and goals.
Needles, Herbs & Labs

Chinese Herbal Medicine
Chinese herbal medicine allows Dr. Naylous to provide a more personalized form of treatment beyond acupuncture alone. Herbal formulas are selected based on each patient’s individual symptoms, constitution, and health patterns rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
Herbal medicine may be used to support digestion, energy, sleep, hormonal balance, immune function, inflammation, and other ongoing health concerns, and can be adjusted over time as the patient’s needs change.

Functional Medicine
Functional Medicine is a major focus of Dr. Naylous’s practice and is especially useful for patients who have persistent symptoms but still do not feel they have clear answers. He uses detailed health history, nutrition and lifestyle evaluation, environmental exposure assessment, and comprehensive laboratory testing to investigate potential underlying contributors to a patient’s symptoms.
His functional medicine approach may include evaluation of gut health, nutrient deficiencies, anemia, hormone balance, fatigue, inflammation, metabolic health, environmental exposures, and other complex health concerns. Findings are then used to create an individualized plan that may include nutrition, targeted supplementation, lifestyle support, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine.
