My passion for functional medicine comes from both my education and my own personal health journey. For years, I struggled with ongoing gut issues, digestive discomfort, food sensitivities, bloating, nausea, and the frustration of not always getting clear answers. I know what it feels like to be told that everything looks “normal” while still feeling like something is off in your body.

Through my own experience, I became deeply interested in understanding the root causes behind symptoms rather than simply covering them up. My journey taught me how connected the gut is to energy, hormones, mood, inflammation, immunity, and overall wellness. While I have made significant progress in my own health, I continue to learn, grow, and work on becoming the healthiest version of myself. That personal experience allows me to connect with patients in a real and compassionate way because I understand how overwhelming it can feel to not know where to start.

My educational background blends Traditional Chinese Medicine with functional medicine principles. Through my training in acupuncture and Chinese medical philosophy, I learned to view the body as an interconnected system, where digestion, stress, sleep, emotions, and lifestyle all play a role in health. Functional medicine has allowed me to expand that approach by using lab testing, nutrition, supplementation, lifestyle changes, and deeper root-cause investigation to better understand what may be driving someone’s symptoms.

My goal is to create a supportive space where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered. I believe healing is not about chasing quick fixes. It is about learning what your body is trying to communicate, identifying the imbalances that may be contributing to your symptoms, and creating a personalized plan that supports long-term wellness.

Because of my own journey, I am especially passionate about helping people with gut health concerns, fatigue, hormone imbalances, inflammation, and those who feel like they have been dismissed or left without answers. I want every patient to know that their symptoms are real, their story matters, and there is always a deeper reason worth exploring.
